The essential eligibility criteria for the aforementioned posts are as under:
(l) Analvsl'C :
(a) Officers of the Central Government or Defence Services:(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in pareni cadre or department; or (ii) with five years of regular service in Level - 10 of the Pay Matrix (pre-revised PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.54001); and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience: (i) Bachelor's degree from a recognized University/lnstitution; and (ii) Seven years experience in the field of Security and Intelligence work,
(ll) Analvst'B' :
(a) Officers of the Central Government or Defence Services:
(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department;
Or
(ii) with three years of regular service in Level - 8 of the Pay Matrix (pre-revised PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.48001);
and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualiflcation and experience:
(i) Bachelor's degree from a recognized University/lnstitution;
and
(ii) three years experience in the field of Security and Intelligence work.
Note-1 :The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, the deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on promotion.
Note-2 : The Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/ department of the Central government shall ordinarily not exceed 04 years for Analyst 'C' and 03 years for Analyst'B',
Note-3 : The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall be not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the application.
