Comptroller And Auditor General Of India

 There should be an independent post of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) under Article 148 of the Constitution of India.
- He is the head of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department.
-He has a tenure of 6 years. Retirement is 65 years old. Whichever is earlier.

-CAG The President is appointed by the
President under his signature seal warrant.

 -He is the principal of the wealth of the common people and has control over both the financial system
central and state of the entire country.
-The CAG can be removed by the President on the basis of his misconduct or incapacity The removal method is similar to that of a Supreme Court Judge.
-CAG (Since assuming office) After this post, the Government of India or any state is not eligible for any employment.

- He submits his audit report to the President / Governor on all expenses related to the articles of the Center and the States. (Article 151)
- President C.A.G. The report submitted by it is kept in both the houses of the Parliament. The Public Accounts Committee examines them and puts their inquiry before the Parliament.

Attorney General of India

- Mentioned in Article 76 of the Constitution of India.
-He holds the rank of the largest law officer in the country.
- They are appointed by the President.
-A.G.I. He is the one who is eligible to be appointed as a Judge of the supreme court.


The first Attorney General of India 

was MC Setalvad.

Advocate general of state 

-Article 165 of the Constitution mentions the designation of Advocate General for the states. He is the high law officer of the state.
-The Advocate General is appointed by the Governor and has the same qualifications as a Judge of the High Court.
